What is the Mueller Shoulder Brace?
Supportive shoulder brace for the treatment and prevention of Shoulder separations (Acromio-Clavicular (AC) joint injuries).
When can I use it? Immediately following an Acromio-Clavicular joint sprain (shoulder separation) to immobilize the shoulder and arm to encourage faster healing. To provide support and help prevent re-injury when returning to sporting activity after the ligaments have healed.
Which size do I need?
Measure around the chest. Small 96-101cm (38-40'') Medium 101-106cm (40-42'') Large 106-111cm (42-44'') X-Large 111-116cm (44-46'') XX-Large 116-121cm (46-48'')
How does it work?
The Mueller Shoulder Brace has a unique rear fastening which exerts a downward force on the collar bone for the prevention and treatment of Acromio-Clavicular (AC) joint sprains and dislocations (Shoulder separation). The elasticated shoulder strap has foam padding for added comfort and focussed downward pressure on the collar bone. This gentle pressure takes the strain off the AC joint and ensures that the ligaments are in the best position for healing.
There are two arm slings for the upper arm and forearm that can be used during the early stage following an AC joint injury when the shoulder and arm need to be immobilised. Later, when the injury is healed, the Mueller Shoulder Brace can be used without slings to exert a re-assuring downward force on the collar bone. |
